🌍 Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 🎗️

Every year, 400,000 children are diagnosed with cancer. Survival rates, however, depend largely on where they live:

  • In high-income countries, more than 80% survive.

  • In low- and middle-income countries, fewer than 30% survive — often due to late or missed diagnosis and limited access to treatment.

➡️ The good news: most childhood cancers are curable with affordable medicines, surgery, and radiotherapy — especially when detected early.

⚠️ Warning signs to watch for:

  • Persistent fever

  • Headaches

  • Bone pain

  • Unexplained weight loss
