#23-Year-Old Nigerian Quadruplets Make History by Graduating from the Same UK University on the Same Day

A remarkable achievement has been recorded as 23-year-old Nigerian quadruplets—Toks, Temi, Tobi, and Tolu Ogunsanya—graduated with master’s degrees from Warwick University in the United Kingdom on the same day.

Born in Nigeria and raised in the UK after relocating with their parents at the age of seven, the siblings, affectionately known as “the quads,” have consistently excelled academically.

Academic Journey

The quadruplets began their higher education journey at Warwick University, earning first-class undergraduate degrees in diverse fields:

  • Toks and Temi in Chemical Engineering,
  • Tobi in Economics,
  • Tolu in Mechanical Engineering.

Building on their impressive foundation, they pursued master’s degrees at the same university, specializing in:

  • Toks and Temi in Biomedical Engineering,
  • Tobi in Finance and Economics,
  • Tolu in Engineering Business Management.

The siblings completed their programs in December 2011 and celebrated their historic joint graduation ceremony on January 22, 2012.

A Testament to Family and Hard Work

The Ogunsanya siblings credit their success to their strong family bond and the unwavering support of their parents. They also expressed gratitude for the guidance of their lecturers and the camaraderie of their classmates.

“We are very proud of ourselves and grateful to God for this achievement,” said Temi. “It was not easy, but we had each other’s backs and motivated each other along the way. Our lecturers and classmates also played a significant role in making the experience enjoyable.”

This historic milestone stands as an inspiring example of dedication, resilience, and the power of familial support.
