The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has described its electronic membership registration and recent party congresses as evidence of strong internal democracy and organisational efficiency.
Party spokesperson Seye Oladejo made the statement on Friday, noting that the digital registration initiative demonstrates the party’s commitment to adopting modern systems for smoother internal operations.
“From the success of our electronic membership registration to the seamless execution of our Party Congresses, the APC has shown that structure, innovation, and order are part of our culture,” Oladejo said.
He highlighted that the congresses held across wards and local governments in Lagos were conducted peacefully, transparently, and in line with the party’s constitutional guidelines, attracting massive participation.
Oladejo also emphasized that the new state executive leadership reflects inclusiveness and balance. “The leadership combines experience and youthfulness, continuity and renewal, along with deliberate gender representation,” he said.
He urged opposition parties to prioritise organisation and discipline in their political activities. “Politics is not just noise or social media agitation. It is structured, coordinated, and requires strong leadership,” Oladejo added.
