The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has praised the Yoruba Tennis Club for its century-long contribution to intellectual discourse and national development as the organisation marked its 100th anniversary.

The keynote address was delivered by the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, who spoke on the topic “Inclusive Governance and National Unity: Lessons from Delta State for a United Nigeria.”

In a statement shared via his X account on Friday, Obasa described the club as a historic institution that has consistently played a key role in shaping discussions around governance and national unity.
