Jummat Mubarak.

May this blessed Friday bring peace to your heart, نور to your path, healing to your body, wisdom to your mind, and barakah into every aspect of your life. May Allah forgive your shortcomings, accept your silent prayers, and open doors that no human being can shut.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لَنَا فِي هَذَا الْجُمُعَةِ نُورًا وَرَحْمَةً وَسَكِينَةً وَاسْتِجَابَةً لِلدُّعَاءِ

Allahumma’j’al lana fi hadhihil-Jumu‘ati nooran wa rahmatan wa sakeenatan wastijabatan lid-du‘aa.

(O Allah, grant us on this Friday light, mercy, tranquility, and acceptance of our prayers.)

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Rabbanaa aatinaa fid-dunyaa hasanatan wa fil-aakhirati hasanatan wa qinaa ‘adhaaban-naar.

“Our Lord, grant us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.” — Qur’an 2:201

May Allah replace every hidden worry with relief, every fear with reassurance, every delay with divine timing, and every hardship with ease.

فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ۝ إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا

Fa inna ma‘al-‘usri yusraa. Inna ma‘al-‘usri yusraa.

“For indeed, with hardship comes ease. Indeed, with hardship comes ease.” — Qur’an 94:5–6

May your home never lack peace, your table never lack provision, your heart never lack faith, and your life never lack Allah’s mercy and guidance.

*Today is 4th of Dhul Hijjah 1447AH (22ndMay 2026)*

*Day 4 of 10 – Ten Good Deeds for the Best Ten Days of the Year*

Tawbatan Nasuhan (Sincere Repentance)

Allah says in the Qur’an,

” *But as for him who repented, believed and did righteous deeds, then he will be among those who are successful.*”

(فَأَمَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَـٰلِحࣰا فَعَسَىٰۤ أَن یَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحِینَ)

Surah al-Qasas (28) ayah 67

*NOTES 📝*

1. One of the most important things to do during these ten days is to repent sincerely to Allah (at-Tawbah an-Nasuhah) and to give up all kinds of disobedience and sin. Repentance is obligatory at all times, but when the Muslim combines sincere repentance with good deeds during the days of most virtue, this is a sign of success, in shaha Allah and as indicated in the ayah quoted. In his Tafsir of Surah At-Tahrim ayah 8, Shaykh Abdurrahman As-Sa’di stated that what is meant by at-Tawbah an-Nasuhah: ‘What is intended by it is a comprehensive repentance that includes all sins, which the servant makes purely for Allah’s sake, seeking only His face and closeness to Him, and remaining steadfast upon it in all circumstances.’. – Tafsir As-Sa’di, Abdur-Rahman As-Sa’di’ADS 5

2. A wise Muslim prepares for the Hereafter with sincere repentance and good deeds, knowing the journey is long, the time of departure unknown, and the world full of distractions. As Al-Hasan al-Basri said: “Today is all you have, so do good in it.”. In essence, today is an opportunity to repent and tomorrow is not guaranteed for anyone. And Allah reminds us: *“And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is Taqwa (piety).”* (Surah al-Baqarah ayah 197). Let us strive while we still can, for Allah is ever watchful and to Him is our return.

3. There are three conditions for a sincere repentance; (a) give up the sin, (b) regret having done it, and (c) resolve never to go back to it. If the sin that is being repented for has to do with the rights of another person however, then there are four conditions: the three mentioned above and (d) restoring the rights of that person e.g. money or property taken unlawfully must be returned to the owner for a sincere repentance to be completed.

*Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing.. Ãmeen*

Have a deeply blessed and spiritually fulfilling Jummat.
