The All Progressives Congress (APC) says no governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives, or state assembly aspirants have been issued Certificates of Return or officially confirmed as the party’s candidates for the 2027 general elections.
In a statement, the party clarified that aside from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who has received his Certificate of Return as the APC’s presidential candidate, the candidate selection process for other elective positions remains ongoing.
The party urged members and supporters to remain calm and law-abiding as it awaits the official decision and directives of the APC National Working Committee (NWC) on the nominations.
