The Federal Government has introduced Rev360, a new digital tax administration platform aimed at improving tax compliance, simplifying taxpayer processes, and enhancing revenue collection as part of broader efforts to modernise Nigeria’s tax system.
The platform was officially launched in Abuja at the headquarters of the Nigeria Revenue Service, with senior government officials, development partners, professional bodies, business groups, tax consultants, and taxpayers in attendance.

Speaking on behalf of the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mohammed Danjuma, Permanent Secretary (Special Duties), described the initiative as a significant milestone in upgrading the country’s revenue administration framework.
He explained that efficient tax administration plays a key role in economic growth by encouraging voluntary compliance, improving transparency, and strengthening investor confidence.

According to him, the government’s reform agenda is focused on building strong institutions, improving fiscal management, driving digital transformation, and increasing efficiency across public sector operations.
The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, also highlighted the platform’s importance in supporting Nigeria’s ambition to grow its economy to $1 trillion, noting that it would improve the ease of doing business.
She said the initiative reflects ongoing efforts to modernise tax processes and improve service delivery, while commending the revenue agency for embracing technology-driven reforms.

The Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service, Zacch Adedeji, described Rev360 as a major shift from traditional revenue collection methods to a fully technology-driven system, saying the agency is evolving into a modern digital institution.
He noted that the platform represents a forward-looking approach to building a more efficient and data-driven revenue system capable of supporting national development goals.
According to the Executive Director of the Medium and Emerging Taxpayers Group, Bolaji Akintola, Rev360 was designed to improve the taxpayer experience by simplifying registration, filing, payments, and support services.
She explained that modern taxpayers expect faster, more transparent, and more convenient public services, and the new platform is designed to meet those expectations.

Akintola added that the system enhances visibility of taxpayer obligations and strengthens engagement between taxpayers and the revenue authority.
The Chief of Staff to the NRS Chairman, Tayo Koleosho, said the platform integrates multiple tax processes into a single system, including registration, assessment, payment, audit, and customer service.
He stated that the goal is to reduce administrative burdens on businesses while improving revenue generation and voluntary compliance.
The Executive Director of Technology at the Nigeria Revenue Service, Iniabasi Akpan, said Rev360 was developed to meet evolving taxpayer expectations and future demands of tax administration.

He explained that the platform combines key functions such as filing, payments, reporting, compliance management, and support services into one integrated digital ecosystem.
He added that the system represents a shift toward intelligent tax administration, offering real-time insights, improved workflow management, and stronger compliance monitoring.
The launch event also featured live demonstrations of the platform’s features, including taxpayer registration, filing, and payment processes, alongside discussions on implementation strategies and stakeholder engagement.
The Nigeria Revenue Service said Rev360 aligns with its vision of building a modern, transparent, and efficient tax administration system that supports economic growth and improves public revenue collection.
