The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched an urgent humanitarian intervention for flood-affected communities in Ghana, reinforcing its growing reputation as one of the world’s most responsive providers of emergency disaster relief.
Acting under the directives of UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the intervention is being coordinated through the UAE Aid Agency, with emergency food supplies and shelter materials being deployed to thousands of families displaced by the devastating floods.
The rapid response underscores the UAE’s long-standing commitment to standing with vulnerable communities during humanitarian crises, regardless of geographical boundaries, religion or nationality.
