FRSC Enugu Sector Commander Franklin Agbakoba Dies
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the death of its Enugu State Sector Commander, Corps Commander Franklin Agbakoba.
The FRSC Deputy Corps Commander in charge of Enugu State Operations, DCC Kyrian Okolo, confirmed the development in a statement issued on Friday in Enugu.
According to the statement, Agbakoba died on Thursday, July 30, at the Niger Foundation Hospital, Enugu, where he was receiving medical treatment.
“FRSC Enugu State Sector Command received the sad news of the demise of CC Franklin Agbakoba on Thursday, July 30,” Okolo said.
He added that the late sector commander’s remains had been deposited at the Eastern Medical Centre, Enugu.
Until his death, Agbakoba was known for promoting road safety across Enugu State, with a strong focus on inter-agency collaboration and partnerships aimed at reducing road crashes and improving safety for motorists and commuters.
His colleagues and members of the road safety community are expected to pay tribute to his contributions and service to the FRSC.
