JAMB Registrar resolves over 5,000 complaints in five days
Professor Segun Aina, Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has resolved more than 5,000 pending complaints within five days.
The complaints were handled as part of efforts to address issues affecting candidates, particularly those relating to biometric verification, payments and profile codes.
The development highlights the board’s efforts to clear outstanding complaints and improve the experience of candidates seeking admission into tertiary institutions.
Among the issues addressed were difficulties with biometric processes, payment-related challenges and problems involving candidates’ profile codes.
The resolution of the complaints comes amid continued efforts by JAMB to strengthen its complaint-resolution system and ensure that candidates receive timely assistance when they encounter challenges with its processes.
Aina’s intervention has resulted in the clearance of more than 5,000 cases that had remained unresolved before the five-day exercise.
The board is expected to continue monitoring complaints and addressing outstanding issues to minimise disruptions for candidates during the admission process.
