Nigerian-American entrepreneur Olamide Olowe has earned recognition as the youngest Black woman to raise $10 million in funding, achieving the milestone at the age of 26 in 2022.
Olowe is the founder and chief executive officer of skincare company Topicals, a brand focused on products designed to address various skin concerns.
She launched Topicals in 2020 and quickly established the company as a notable player in the beauty and skincare industry.
Just two years after launching the brand, Olowe successfully raised $10 million in funding, making her the youngest Black woman to reach the milestone at the time.
Her achievement has been widely celebrated as an example of the growing influence of Black entrepreneurs in the global beauty and technology-driven consumer market.
