Some residents of Kano State who attended an All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally have expressed anger over the N3,000 allegedly paid to them after the event.
The participants complained that the amount was not enough to cover their transportation expenses, with some saying they had to borrow money to travel to the rally.
One of the protesters said some attendees spent between N1,000 and N1,500 on transportation before arriving at the venue, only to receive N3,000 afterward.
The residents, who were seen wearing APC-branded clothing, reportedly expressed frustration over the situation and warned that they may not participate in future campaign activities if similar treatment continues.
The protest followed an APC mobilisation exercise in Kano, where a support structure for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign was inaugurated.
