Human rights activist and politician Omoyele Sowore has accused supporters of the Obidient Movement of supporting what he described as the oppression of Palestinians in Gaza.
Sowore made the allegation while discussing the ongoing conflict in Gaza and the positions taken by some Nigerian political groups and supporters regarding the situation.
He questioned the response of members of the Obidient Movement to developments involving Palestinians, arguing that their stance was inconsistent with opposition to oppression and injustice.
The activist has previously spoken publicly about the situation in Gaza and expressed support for Palestinians, including participating in a pro-Palestine demonstration in New York.
His latest comments have added another dimension to the ongoing political disagreements between Sowore and supporters of the Obidient Movement.
