Abdulaziz made the statement on Saturday at the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s flag-off rally in Kaduna State, expressing confidence that the president’s record in office would persuade Nigerians to support him for a second term.
He explained that, unlike the 2023 campaign, the latest re-election drive would focus more on presenting evidence of completed projects, government policies and ongoing programmes than on making political promises.

According to the presidential aide, the campaign would give voters information they could use to assess the administration’s performance ahead of the January 16, 2027 presidential election.
Abdulaziz identified the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) as one of the government’s major initiatives, saying the scheme had helped students who might otherwise have struggled to continue their higher education because of financial difficulties.
He said the campaign would showcase beneficiaries’ experiences, including testimonies from students who said the financial support had helped them remain in school and pursue their academic goals.
The aide also pointed to projects in universities and other public institutions, arguing that developments across different sectors demonstrated the administration’s efforts to expand opportunities for Nigerians, particularly young people.

He praised Tinubu’s willingness to make difficult policy decisions, describing courage as an important quality in national leadership. He maintained that the president’s decisions were intended to address the country’s challenges and establish a foundation for future development.
Abdulaziz also welcomed the turnout at the Kaduna rally, describing the atmosphere as energetic and expressing optimism that the campaign would gain momentum as it moved to other parts of the country. He urged supporters to sustain their mobilisation and translate their enthusiasm into votes.
Meanwhile, Otega Ogra, Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media and Deputy Director-General of Communications and Media for the City Boys Movement, highlighted the participation of young people at the rally.

Ogra said his observations around Kaduna and at the venue suggested that youths made up a substantial share of the attendees. He added that some supporters had travelled from villages and neighbouring states to participate in the event.
He said the campaign intended to engage young voters and address misinformation circulating on social media by making information about the administration’s policies and achievements more accessible.
Ogra announced that the City Boys Movement had introduced an online platform called Ask City Boy, designed to allow Nigerians to ask questions about Tinubu’s achievements and the government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He said the digital service would complement rallies and other campaign activities by providing information about government programmes and policies.
Ogra expressed confidence that the APC would continue to mobilise supporters ahead of the 2027 election, adding that digital platforms would play an important role in communicating the administration’s record to voters.
