A leading Ogun State House of Assembly aspirant, Hon. Olutayo Damilare, has praised the All Progressives Congress (APC) for what he described as a peaceful and well-organised national convention.
Damilare, who also serves as the Ogun State Deputy Coordinator of Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for providing leadership that has strengthened unity within the ruling party. He said the increasing number of defectors joining the APC reflects growing confidence in the President’s leadership.
“The rancour-free convention reflects the stability and unity within our great party under the leadership of President Tinubu,” he said.

He also applauded Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, who chaired the National Convention Venue Sub-Committee, for delivering what he described as a world-class event. According to him, the organisation and presentation of the venue met international standards and added colour to the gathering.
Damilare further congratulated the party’s National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, and National Secretary, Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, on their re-election, noting that their leadership continues to position the party for greater achievements.
He urged the party leadership to create more opportunities for young people ahead of the 2027 elections, stressing that youth inclusion in governance would drive national development.
Damilare, who is seeking to represent Remo North State Constituency in the Ogun State House of Assembly, said empowering young people politically would help build a more prosperous future for the country.
