President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Abuja for Ibadan, Oyo State, to attend the coronation of the new Olubadan, Rashidi Ladoja.
The president took off from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at around 12:45 p.m. on Friday. In Ibadan, he will join other dignitaries to witness the formal installation of the 44th Olubadan at the historic Mapo Hall.
Rashidi Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State, ascended the throne following the death of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin on July 7, 2025.
This marks President Tinubu’s first visit to Ibadan and Oyo State since his inauguration on May 29, 2023.
