In line with the directive of Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun to enhance safety and security during the festive season, police operatives across Nigeria have arrested 23 suspects involved in armed robbery, kidnapping, and other criminal activities. The operations, aimed at ensuring a peaceful Christmas celebration, also led to the recovery of weapons and intensified efforts to apprehend fleeing accomplices.

Their swift intervention resulted in the arrest of three suspects: Emmanuel Okoli (20), Ogunde Tejiri (20), and Emmanuel Orji (18). Weapons used in their robbery attacks were also recovered. Police efforts are ongoing to track down other members of the gang.
Kaduna Kidnapping Suspect Apprehended

Nationwide Successes
Similar security operations in Delta, Ogun, Katsina, Benue, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and Imo State led to several arrests and the disruption of criminal activities targeting residents and fun seekers.
