اللهم اجعلني محباً لأوليائك، ومعادياً لأعدائك، ومتابعاً لسنة خاتم أنبيائك، يا عاصم قلوب النبيين
Allahumma aj‘alni muhibban li-awliya’ika, wa mu‘adiyan li-a‘da’ika, wa mutabi‘an li-sunnati khatami anbiya’ika, ya ‘Asima qulubi al-nabiyyin.
Translation:
“O Allah, make me among those who love Your close servants, oppose Your enemies, and follow the Sunnah of Your final Prophet. O the One who protects the hearts of the Prophets!”

اللهم اهدني فيمن هديت، وعافني فيمن عافيت، وتولني فيمن توليت، وبارك لي فيما أعطيت، وقني شر ما قضيت، فإنك تقضي ولا يقضى عليك.
Allahumma ihdini fi man hadayt, wa ‘afini fi man ‘afayt, wa tawallani fi man tawallayt, wa barik li fima a‘tayt, wa qini sharra ma qadayt, fa innaka taqdi wa la yuqda ‘alayk.
O Allah, guide me among those whom You have guided, grant me well-being among those You have granted well-being, be my Protector among those whom You have protected, bless me in what You have given, and protect me from the evil of what You have decreed, for You alone decree, and no one can decree over You.
2. For Forgiveness and Mercy:
اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعف عني.
Allahumma innaka ‘Afuwwun tuhibbul-‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anni.

1. Seeking Laylatul Qadr
The 25th night is among the odd nights in the last ten nights of Ramadan, in which Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Decree) may occur.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Seek Laylatul Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramadan, in the odd nights.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari, 2017; Sahih Muslim, 1169)
2. The Reward of Worship in Laylatul Qadr
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever prays during Laylatul Qadr with faith and seeking reward, all his past sins will be forgiven.”

Aisha (RA) asked the Prophet (ﷺ):
“O Messenger of Allah, if I find Laylatul Qadr, what should I say?”

“O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me.”

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“When Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hellfire are closed, and the devils are chained.”

Ibn Abbas (RA) said:
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was the most generous of people, and he was even more generous in Ramadan when Jibril (AS) met him every night to teach him the Qur’an.”

1. The Importance of Laylatul Qadr (Night of Decree)

Translation:
“Indeed, We sent the Qur’an down during the Night of Decree. And what can make you know what the Night of Decree is? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit (Jibril) descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.” (Surah Al-Qadr 97:1-5)
2. The Quran as a Guidance in Ramadan
شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ هُدًۭى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَـٰتٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْفُرْقَانِ
Translation:

وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ
Translation:
“And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the call of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:186)

قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا۟ مِن رَّحْمَةِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

“Say, ‘O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'”
