Police Rescue Ex-AIG Odumosu’s Wife, Kill Abductors
Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have successfully rescued Mrs. Folashade Odumosu, the wife of former Assistant Inspector General of Police, Hakeem Odumosu.
Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the rescue operation, stating that Mrs. Odumosu regained her freedom on Wednesday. The abductors were neutralized during the operation.
Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, commended the police operatives and Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, for their professionalism and dedication.
Adejobi emphasized the Nigeria Police Force’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of all Nigerian citizens.
The rescue operation was led by Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo.
Mrs. Odumosu was abducted last Thursday at the entrance of her residence in Arepo, Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State. The kidnappers forcibly dragged her out of her SUV and whisked her away through a nearby swampy area.
