I joined leaders from across the continent at the ongoing Africa Investment Forum (AIF) Market Days 2024, in Rabat, Morocco.
This year’s event themed, “Leveraging Innovative Partnerships for Scale,” brings together African business leaders and SMEs from across the continent, to discuss critical areas including equity and financing challenges, operational and implementation challenges, institutional challenges, political and security challenges to industrialization. There was focus on human capital, environmental sustainability, technology and accelerating the power and growth of SMEs, with emphasis on Agriculture productivity and Agro- Industrial Development. An end to end approach to promote key value chains in the Agricultural sector from cultivation to processing and all activities in between to serve the Special Agro Processing Zone (SAPZ). This being consistent with our administration’s agenda of sustaining a vibrant economy by attracting public and private investments capital to enhance commercial activities, skills development, and job creation.
I used the opportunity to
pursue the strengthening of partnership in the realization of the dream of world class industrial zone as we remain committed to attracting development partners from across the world. Our effort of creating conducive environment via suite of incentives for businesses in Kaduna State is second to none as investment flows to various economic sectors thrives.
