Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has officially signed the 2025 Appropriation Bill into law, marking a significant milestone in the state’s development journey. The budget, aptly titled the “Budget of Hope and Prosperity,” is designed to foster sustainable growth, enhance service delivery, and promote inclusive development across key sectors.
During the signing ceremony held at the Governor’s Office in Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun highlighted the budget’s focus on consolidating gains in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and industrialization. The Governor emphasized that the financial plan also charts new courses for economic growth and human capital development.
“This budget encapsulates the collective aspirations of the people of Ogun State. It reaffirms our commitment to delivering on our promises and ensuring judicious use of resources for the benefit of all,” Governor Abiodun stated.
He extended his appreciation to the Ogun State House of Assembly for their dedication and swift passage of the budget, acknowledging their collaboration as vital to the state’s progress.
As implementation begins, Governor Abiodun reiterated his administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance. He urged citizens and stakeholders to actively support the realization of the 2025 budget’s objectives.
