The Kano State Police Command has issued a warning to residents about intelligence reports suggesting possible terrorist plans to target public gatherings in strategic locations across the state.
In a statement released on Friday, January 25, 2025, Police Public Relations Officer Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa urged residents to exercise vigilance and avoid crowded places as a precautionary measure.
“The Kano State Police Command, in collaboration with other security agencies, has received intelligence on suspected terrorist plans to launch attacks on public gatherings in key areas of the state.
