#MEET FOLASHADE ARINOLA ADEKAIYAOJA, fdc, fsi+: FIRST FEMALE DEPUTY DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF DSS

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made history by appointing Folashade Arinola Adekaiyaoja as the Deputy Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS). A native of Kogi State, Adekaiyaoja is the first female to assume this prestigious role in the DSS hierarchy, traditionally composed of three Deputy Directors-General.

Adekaiyaoja is a distinguished professional with impressive credentials:

Fellow of the Defence College (fdc): Awarded upon completion of the National Defence College (NDC) program, the highest military education institution in Nigeria.

Fellow of the National Institute for Security Studies (fsi): Conferred after completing an advanced ten-month training on Artificial Intelligence at the DSS’s educational arm.

Her appointment was recommended by DSS Director-General Mr. Oluwatosin Ajayi and endorsed by the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.

The name “Adekaiyaoja” carries a powerful warrior-like meaning: “Once he arrives, everybody will be afraid.” This name aptly reflects her groundbreaking achievements and the respect she commands.

As the DSS continues to evolve under progressive leadership, Adekaiyaoja’s appointment is a significant milestone, inspiring women in Nigeria and beyond to break barriers and contribute to national security and development.

The National Patriots and Headlinenews.news congratulates the trailblazing Amazon for achieving this historical feat to reposition women in Nigeria and support governance.
Welldone, Folashade !
