Veteran Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has set social media abuzz following a viral video showing him buried alive on a movie set.
The footage captures Chatta partially buried in the ground, with only his head visible, as he interacts with members of the film crew. In another clip, crew members are seen piling red soil around him until it reaches his neck. The scene, part of a film production, highlights Chatta’s dedication and the lengths he is willing to go to bring his roles to life.

Sharing the video on social media, Chatta wrote:
“The JOB, The TASK You rarely get to CHOOSE. You must give your ALL. You’re TIRED. You’re SICK. But you must keep PUSHING. They say SHOW must CONTINUE. You are as GOOD as your last JOB. Shoutout to all ACTORS around the globe and their DIRECTORS that push them to carve out the BEST in them.”
Ibrahim Chatta, a renowned Yoruba actor, is celebrated for his powerful performances in films such as Jagun Jagun, Lisabi, and House of Ga’a.
