#Nathaniel Bassey to Minister at Donald Trump’s Inaugural Prayer Breakfast

Renowned Nigerian pastor and gospel artist Nathaniel Bassey has been invited to minister at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast for U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.

The event, scheduled for January 20, 2025, at the Waldorf Astoria Presidential Ballroom in Washington, D.C., will precede the inauguration of Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance. Organized by Reverend Merrie Turner, the prayer breakfast is a faith-based, non-governmental gathering aimed at offering intercessory prayers and worship for the incoming administration.

Nathaniel Bassey will minister alongside other prominent speakers and ministers, including Dr. Alveda King, Pastor Mario Bramnick, Revivalist Rebecca Macchi, and Dr. Dominiquae Bierman.

Confirming his participation via Instagram, Bassey wrote, “Let’s raise a sound in America. And let the King of Glory come in. See you 20th January, 2025.” He further explained that the event is not an official government program but a tradition held every four years to invoke divine blessings for the nation’s leadership.

This recognition follows Bassey’s significant achievements in 2024, including being honored by the Mayor of Albany, New York, who declared October 6 as “Pastor Nathaniel Bassey Day” to celebrate his contributions to gospel music and global community impact.
