Ribadu spoke on Monday during a condolence visit to the Catholic Bishop of Kontagora Diocese, Rev. Bulus Yohanna, and parents of abducted students of St. Mary Catholic Nursery, Primary and Secondary School in Agwara, Niger State. He assured them that the government is taking decisive action.

He said President Bola Tinubu is deeply concerned about the abduction, noting that the President canceled some official engagements to focus on the situation.

Ribadu expressed confidence that the kidnapped children and teachers will return safely, promising enhanced security in the area. “Enough is enough. We will not allow evil to divide us,” he said, stressing that global support is helping Nigeria confront the long-running threat.

Bishop Yohanna thanked the delegation for the visit and presented a report to the NSA before a brief closed-door meeting. The school principal, Rev. Sister Felicia Gyang, and a parents’ representative, Luka Iliya, also recounted the incident and their concerns.

Ribadu was accompanied by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. Bernard Doro; DSS Director General, Oluwatosin Ajayi; and CAN Northern Chairman, Rev. Joseph Hayab.Headline news
