Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information for the NAF, stated that the strikes were based on credible intelligence and continuous monitoring of insurgent activities. He noted that the operation significantly reduced the operational capability of the militants and disrupted their mobility.

The air strikes are part of ongoing efforts under Operation Hadin Kai, aimed at combating insurgency and restoring stability in Nigeria’s North-East region. The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, emphasized that maintaining air superiority is crucial for consolidating gains made by ground forces.

During the period, senior NAF officers, including Air Vice Marshals Precious Amadi and MC Ekwueme, visited the Maiduguri base in Borno State to assess readiness, review operations, and boost personnel morale. Briefings highlighted the base’s preparedness to sustain high-intensity joint operations alongside other security agencies.

The Air Force reaffirmed its commitment to persistent aerial operations, precision strikes, and coordinated air-ground efforts to restrict insurgent movements and support ongoing security initiatives.
