The North East chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for a second term in the 2027 presidential election.
The endorsement was declared on Sunday during the North East APC Consultative Meeting held in Gombe, the capital of Gombe State.
The event drew thousands of party members and top officials, including Governors Babagana Zulum (Borno), Mai Mala Buni (Yobe), and Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), as well as other senior party figures from the region.
The forum commended the Tinubu/Shettima administration for what it described as transformative leadership under the Renewed Hope Agenda. It urged Nigerians to support a ticket that it said embodies unity, progress, and a better future for the nation.
Speaking at the gathering, Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, praised the administration’s achievements in the past two years, particularly in the areas of healthcare, education, youth and women empowerment, revenue generation, and overall improvement of citizens’ welfare.

Also in attendance were APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Deputy National Chairman (North) Dr. Ali Bukar Dalori, and other key stakeholders from the party’s national and regional leadership.
