###OONI OF IFE, OTHERS FOR GAH AWARDS IN LAGOS

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, alongside other prominent figures, is set to attend the 13th edition of the GAH Awards and Business Summit, scheduled for December 12, 2025, at Eko Hotels & Suites. This was revealed in a statement by Miss Joy Amiso, the founder of the awards.

Amiso highlighted that this year’s summit will feature speakers from diverse sectors, including public service, aviation, human rights, development finance, legal advocacy, entrepreneurship, innovation, and the creative industries. The discussions aim to explore the strategic significance and continental impact of these conversations.

She described the event as a platform designed to empower individuals, strengthen industries, and amplify the voices shaping Africa’s future.

In addition to Oba Ogunwusi, confirmed speakers include Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo and Air Peace founder Allen Onyema. The summit, themed “Africa Reimagined: Innovation, Inclusion & Sustainable Growth,” will also host Dauda Lawal, Governor of Zamfara State; Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin, founder of Women Arise Initiative; Dr. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, Minister of Interior; Dr. Adekunle Olayinka, Special Adviser to the Governor on Works & Infrastructure; Senator Ajibola Basiru, National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC); and human rights lawyer Femi Falana (SAN), among others.

Amiso emphasized that Africa is at a pivotal moment where creativity, technology, policy reforms, youth-led entrepreneurship, and cross-sector collaboration are reshaping the continent. “The theme reflects the GAH Awards’ mission to celebrate transformation and inspire new avenues for Africa’s development,” she added.
