President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to depart Abuja on Wednesday for a private visit to Paris, France, before proceeding to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for the African Union (AU) Summit.
Agenda in Ethiopia
In Addis Ababa, President Tinubu will participate in the 46th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 38th Ordinary Session of the AU Heads of State Assembly, scheduled to take place from February 12 to 16, 2025.
The summit will bring together African leaders to discuss key continental issues, economic development, and regional security.
Meeting with French President Macron
Before heading to Ethiopia, President Tinubu will stop in France, where he is expected to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between both nations.
The President is scheduled to arrive in Addis Ababa early next week for the AU Summit.
