President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Abuja on Tuesday night after celebrating the Christmas and New Year holidays in Lagos State.
The president’s return also followed his participation as the Special Guest of Honour at the inauguration of Ghana’s newly elected President, John Dramani Mahama.
Tinubu had arrived in Lagos on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, to spend the festive season. Upon his arrival at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport, he was warmly welcomed by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, and other cabinet members.
Before departing for Lagos, Tinubu had presented the 2025 national budget, totaling ₦47.9 trillion, during a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja.
