Oluremi Tinubu Meets Melania Trump at White House Summit on Education and AI
Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, met with Melania Trump at the White House in Washington, DC, during the “Fostering the Future Together Summit.”

The event, hosted by Melania, brought together about 45 first ladies from around the world, including Brigitte Macron. The summit focused on expanding access to educational tools and ensuring the safety of children in digital environments.
A major highlight of the gathering was the unveiling of “Figure 3,” an American-made humanoid system. It marked the first time such advanced artificial intelligence technology was formally presented to international leaders in a diplomatic setting at the White House.

Speaking at the event, Melania emphasised the growing role of artificial intelligence, noting that it would soon evolve beyond mobile devices into human-like systems capable of delivering practical services. She urged global leaders to prepare younger generations for a future shaped by AI.
“This technology may reset the modern world order and rebalance power. Your children must be prepared to ascend within this framework,” she said.
Representatives from nine countries, including the United States, France, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, and Morocco, also presented their national strategies for integrating technology into education systems.
Melania called for stronger international collaboration, encouraging participating nations to invest in initiatives that equip young people with the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
