Sir Alhaji Adamu Kabir Umar was born in December 1975 in Tudun Wada, Kaduna, to the family of Alhaji Kabir Umar. He is widely known as a community leader, banker, international education consultant, and grassroots politician committed to the development of Kaduna State and Nigeria.
Early Life and Education
Sir Alhaji Adamu Kabir Umar began his early education at Kaduna Capital School. He later proceeded to the prestigious Barewa College, Zaria, where he further developed his academic foundation and leadership qualities.
He also attended Labayi International School before advancing to higher education.
His academic journey continued at the University of Abuja, where he obtained a Diploma Banking &!Finance ,Degree in Public Administration from University of Maiduguri In pursuit of further academic excellence and strategic knowledge, he also attended the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) and later studied at Herzing College, Ottawa, Canada.

Sir Alhaji Adamu Kabir Umar began his professional career during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at Aso Savings and Loans Plc, where he gained early exposure to the financial sector.
He later joined Unity Bank Plc, where he built a successful banking career. Through dedication and professionalism, he rose through the ranks to become a Business Service Manager.
After several years in the Nigerian banking industry, he resigned to pursue international opportunities and relocated to Canada, where he began a new professional path.
He is currently a Licensed Citizenship and Immigration Consultant of Canada, with over 10 years of professional experience assisting international students and migrants. Through his consultancy work, he has helped thousands of students secure admission placements, scholarships, and study opportunities abroad.

Political Journey
Sir Alhaji Adamu Kabir Umar has maintained a strong commitment to grassroots politics and democratic participation.
His political journey began with the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), under which he contested for election into the Kaduna State House of Assembly in 2011.
Following political realignments in Nigeria, he later joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) and again contested for the Kaduna State House of Assembly in 2018, demonstrating his dedication to public service and representation.
In 2022, he further expanded his political engagement by contesting for the position of Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government Area under the platform of the APC.
