TINUBU MARKS 74TH BIRTHDAY LOW-KEY, LISTS REFORMS GAINS AND SEEKS CONTINUED SUPPORT FROM NIGERIANS

Bola Ahmed Tinubu marked his 74th birthday on Saturday in a quiet and reflective manner, choosing the occasion to assess his administration’s progress, acknowledge ongoing challenges, and call for continued support from Nigerians.

In a message to the nation, the President expressed gratitude for the goodwill he received, describing it as a sign of citizens’ patriotism and solidarity with his government.

He explained that keeping the celebration low-key was in line with his usual approach of aligning personal events with the mood of the country.

Reflecting on his time in office, Tinubu admitted that his administration’s reform policies have come with difficulties but insisted that there are early signs of progress. He noted that recent global developments, including tensions in the Middle East, have also created additional pressure.

The President emphasised that any achievements recorded so far are a collective effort, not his alone, stressing that Nigerians have played a key role in the progress made.

Looking ahead to his administration’s third anniversary, Tinubu expressed confidence in delivering lasting results and building a better future for the country.

He reaffirmed his commitment to addressing the nation’s challenges and urged citizens to remain patient and supportive, calling for unity and collective effort in building a stronger and more resilient Nigeria.

Today, as I clock another year on the journey of life, I’m filled with joy and gratitude for the opportunity to serve this great nation.

I want to take this moment to thank Nigerians for their messages, show of love and prayers on the occasion of my 74th birthday. I thank all our citizens for their patriotism, solidarity and support for our administration…
