President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially signed the North-Central Development Commission (NCDC) Bill into law, paving the way for focused development in the region.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio announced the presidential assent during Tuesday’s plenary, highlighting the bill’s significance in bringing grassroots development and fostering peace in the North-Central region.
“We congratulate the good people of North-Central Nigeria and wish them continued development and stability as we progress in nation-building,” Akpabio stated.
The establishment of the NCDC is expected to drive infrastructure projects, economic empowerment, and social development initiatives tailored to the region’s unique challenges.
