#US COLLABORATED WITH NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT TO STRIKE IDENTIFIED ISIS TERRORIST TARGETS IN NIGERIA

Reports confirm that an explosion took place on the outskirts of Jibo village in Tambuwal Local Government Area, Sokoto State.

A Nigerian government source revealed that the U.S. attacks, conducted under former President Donald Trump, were largely coordinated through the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA), led by Nuhu Ribadu.

The source explained that internal intelligence units within the NSA collaborated closely with the U.S. military, particularly the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM), to identify and target ISIS-linked terrorist elements for what was described as their “elimination.” The total number of targets struck and the full scope of the operation remain unclear.

SaharaReporters noted that, as of the time of reporting, it was not possible to independently verify whether there were any casualties from the strike in Jibo village.

AFRICOM confirmed on social media that it had carried out strikes against terrorist positions in northwest Nigeria, though its initial post misspelled Sokoto as “Soboto,” a mistake that was subsequently corrected.

Details regarding the extent of Nigeria’s involvement in the operation, the level of coordination, and the potential impact on civilians have not yet been disclosed.
