US TO DEPORT NIGERIAN OVER VIOLENT CRIMES

United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement has stated that a Nigerian citizen, Ibrahim Ijaoba, is presently being held by the agency and is awaiting deportation after a final removal order was issued against him.

The information was made public in a post on the agency’s X (formerly Twitter) page on Monday, where Ijaoba was described as a criminal illegal alien with a background involving violent crimes in the United States.

The agency explained that Ijaoba previously belonged to the Bloods street gang, entered the country unlawfully, and was later convicted of several criminal offences.

“Ibrahim Tunde Ijaoba is a criminal illegal alien from Nigeria and former member of the Bloods — a notoriously violent street gang,” ICE said.

ICE further stated that his criminal history served as the grounds for his deportation from the United States.

“He has a final removal order and awaits deportation in ICE custody,” the agency added.

The Bloods is widely recognized in the United States as a street gang commonly linked to violent activities, drug trafficking, and armed    robbery.
