After the conclusion of Group F matches on Wednesday night, the Super Eagles have been drawn to play the Mambas of Mozambique in Fez on Monday.
In the final group games, defending champions, the Elephants of Côte d’Ivoire, produced a spirited comeback from two goals down to defeat the Panthères of Gabon 3–2 in a demanding encounter. In the other Group F match, Cameroon edged Mozambique 2–1.
The results saw Côte d’Ivoire finish top of the group with seven points, edging Cameroon on goal difference, as both teams ended with the same number of points. Mozambique placed third with three points, aided by their earlier win over Gabon, who finished bottom of the group without a point.
