The Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Party (APC), Ahmed Bola Tinubu has described Nigeria to be a Nation of confusion.
He made the disclosure during the 70th Birthday Celebration of Matthew Hassan Kukah Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese Organised by the Kukah Centre held in Sheraton hotel Abuja on Wednesday.
He said ” I listened to the panelists who discussed about the state of Nigeria. We appear to be in confusion about our nation.
” I heard about the second stanza of the National Anthem from the Kayode (Ekiti state Governor) but he has forgotten that we have one National Anthem before that which says ‘ though tongue and tribes may differs but in brotherhood we stand. And in the second stanza too is a pledge that Nigerians are ready to serve. It’s about service to this country.
According to him we inherited speaking in tongues from the Bible but our diversity is a promise for prosperity in the country.
He extolled the celebrant Bishop Matthew Kukuh as an outstanding and intellectual person.
