The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their examination slips.
In a statement shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the board said the slip contains essential details such as the examination venue, date, and time, and is required for entry into the exam hall.
“This is to notify you that examination slip printing is now available,” the board stated, urging candidates to log in and print their slips ahead of the exercise.

JAMB also reiterated that the 2026 UTME is scheduled to take place from April 16 to April 25, as earlier announced.
The board dismissed reports circulating about a possible postponement of the examination, describing them as false and misleading.
“Our attention has been drawn to a malicious press release alleging that the 2026 UTME has been postponed. We wish to state clearly that the notice is fake and did not emanate from the board,” the statement read.

Candidates and the general public were advised to disregard such claims and rely only on official communication from the board.
Meanwhile, JAMB also confirmed previously approved minimum admission scores for the 2025/2026 academic session. Universities will admit candidates with a minimum score of 150, colleges of nursing 140, while polytechnics, monotechnics, colleges of education, agriculture, and innovation enterprise institutions will accept candidates with scores from 100.
The board added that the minimum age requirement for admission into tertiary institutions remains 16 years.
Candidates are encouraged to print their slips early and make necessary arrangements ahead of their examination dates.
