2026 THE YEAR OF HARVEST & FULFILLMENT FOR NIGERIANS (VIDEO)

A New Year Prayer for Our Readers – 2026.

Beloved readers,

As we cross the threshold into a new year, our hearts are filled with gratitude. We look back with humility, lessons learned, seeds planted, and prayers whispered—some in joy, others through tears. And now, we step forward in faith.

The Scripture declares:

“Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.” (Psalm 65:11).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for sustaining us through the years past. As 2026 unfolds, we commit every reader of Headlinenews.news into Your loving hands. Let this year be a year of harvest—a season where every good seed sown in faith, obedience, integrity, and perseverance brings forth its full reward.

Grant success in all honorable undertakings. Let long-awaited promises be fulfilled, delayed answers be released, and heartfelt prayers be answered according to Your perfect will. Bless our readers with long life, sound health, clarity of mind, and wisdom to make right decisions. Endow them with courage to pursue purpose and strength to overcome every challenge.

Your Word assures us:

“For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

May 2026 be the year of fulfillment for all who walk in Your path—the year doors open, burdens lift, and joy is restored. Let blessings be uncountable, peace be unshakable, and faith be renewed.

As the old gives way to the new, may hope rise again, purpose be rekindled, and gratitude remain our song.

We step into this year trusting You completely, believing that the best is unfolding.

Amen.

A New Year Prayer for Nigeria — From the National Patriots.

Fellow Nigerians,

As a new year dawns, we pause with grateful hearts, mindful of where we have been and hopeful for where God is leading us. We carry memories of struggle and resilience, prayers uttered in silence, and faith that refused to fail.

The Scripture reminds us:

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” (Psalm 33:12).

Almighty God, we thank You for preserving Nigeria through changing seasons.

As we step into this new year, we commit our nation and her people into Your hands. Heal our land, strengthen our unity, and renew our collective conscience.

Let this year be a year of harvest for Nigeria—a season when hard work yields reward, righteousness is honored, and justice begins to flow like a river. May every good seed sown by honest citizens, patriots, and reformers begin to bear fruit.

Grant our people wisdom in decision-making, courage in leadership, and compassion in governance. Bless our youths with vision and opportunity, our elders with strength and honor, and our families with peace and provision. Protect our nation from violence, corruption, and despair, and restore hope in the hearts of the weary.

Your Word declares:

“If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

May this new year mark a turning point—a year of fulfillment, restoration, and renewed purpose for Nigeria. Let promises long deferred find expression, and let the labor of patriots not be in vain.

We step forward in faith, believing that God is not finished with Nigeria. With gratitude for the past and hope for the future, we entrust this year to You.

Amen.

New Year Message To Nigerians.

Fellow Nigerians,

Our nation stands at a defining moment. Nigeria is transitioning from a weak, manual, and wasteful tax system to a modern, data-driven, digital taxation framework. This is not an attack on citizens. It is a necessary step toward national survival and dignity.

Let us be clear: Nigeria is not doing anything unusual. Every serious country in the world uses data, technology, and automated systems to ensure fiscal discipline. Where discrepancies exist between declared income and actual economic activity, explanations are requested. Where obligations are ignored, lawful deductions apply. This is how governments fund development — quietly, fairly, and efficiently.

For too long, Nigeria has borrowed to build roads, fund healthcare, educate children, and provide basic services — while vast wealth generated within our economy escaped proper taxation. This reform closes that gap. It ensures that those who profit the most from Nigeria also contribute fairly to Nigeria.

This system does not target the poor. It focuses on large inconsistencies, high-value transactions, and structured economic activity, particularly in sectors such as oil and gas, banking, solid minerals, telecommunications, and international trade. It protects ordinary Nigerians while enforcing accountability at the top.

We acknowledge that misunderstanding and fear exist — largely because many have never been exposed to how modern taxation works globally. But ignorance must not derail progress. Nations do not develop by avoiding structure; they develop by embracing it.

Data-driven tax digitalisation reduces harassment, removes human intimidation, blocks leakages, strengthens national revenue, and allows Nigeria to fund education, healthcare, social welfare, and infrastructure without sinking deeper into debt.

Patriotism is not resisting reform.

Patriotism is supporting systems that secure our collective future.

Nigeria must move forward.

This reform is necessary.

This reform is normal.

This reform is in the

national interest.

Allow Government to generate tax from multinationals and then enquire about what the funds were used for as is done in any democracy.
