Former Minister of Aviation and ex-Governor of Bauchi State, Isa Yuguda, has stated that his main priority is promoting unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi and supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

Speaking in Abuja, Yuguda said he would not be swayed by allegations or petitions aimed at questioning his role in the party. He described a recent petition sent to the APC National Working Committee (NWC) regarding the state of the party in Bauchi as an attempt to tarnish his reputation.

The former minister also clarified that he is not involved in the internal crisis affecting the APC in Bauchi, pointing to Tuggar as being responsible for causing divisions among party members.

Yuguda reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening party cohesion in the state and ensuring APC’s success in future elections, including Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign. The statement emphasized that he will remain focused on these objectives despite any unfounded criticisms.
