Nigeria will take on hosts Morocco in a high-stakes semi-final of the 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on Wednesday, January 14, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
The Super Eagles are hunting their fourth AFCON title, while Morocco aim to secure the trophy for the first time since their historic win in 1976.

Both teams enter the last-four stage unbeaten, highlighting the significance of this showdown.
Nigeria have been dominant throughout the tournament, winning all five of their matches en route to the semi-finals. Morocco, energized by their home crowd, have also impressed, securing four victories and a draw.

This will mark the sixth AFCON meeting between the two nations, with every previous encounter producing a winner. It is their first meeting at the tournament in 22 years and only the second time they will clash in an AFCON semi-final.
