IBB in his book, page 253 claimed Chief Obafemi Awolowo was angry with him because he banned all old politicians for ten years on September 23rd 1987, but Obafemi Awolowo died on the 9th of May 1987. Probably an error which could be overlooked as a minor detail. Many politicians were annoyed with IBB for the ban on all old politicians, so the point remains valid. …
