Aminat Lawal, a brilliant Nigerian scholar, has made history by graduating as the overall best student of the Nigerian Law School, surpassing 5,300 colleagues to achieve the prestigious honor.
Aminat, who earned a first-class degree in Law from the University of Ibadan, continued her academic excellence at the Nigerian Law School, where she was called to the Bar as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
A Record-Breaking Achievement
Sharing her achievement on LinkedIn, Aminat expressed her astonishment at the recognition:
“Today, I was called to the largest bar in Africa, the Nigerian Bar, winning 12 awards and emerging as the Overall Best Graduating Student in a class of 5,300 students.”
She revealed that her initial goal was simply to graduate with a first-class, making the top position an unexpected honor.
