I don’t understand why President Tinubu is tolerating this Wike’s eccentricity. Even if for his nuisance value, Mr. President should caution him and set boundaries for him. Wike believes he can say anything to anybody and nothing will happen to him. Such impunity is unfit for a person holding a public office like a Federal Minister and accountable to the constituency. I feel Wike’s actions show a total disrespect for the office of the President and President Tinubu himself. Who does this man think he is?
I was there when Patience Jonathan brought him to the Ijaw elders to solicit their support for his gubernatorial ambition. He prostrated and showed humility for the Ijaw elders and leaders in the region. Can the same woman not call him to order? He has become an embarrassment to the Niger Delta people. Pride comes before a fall and I believe Wike should be preparing for a big fall, because when you disparage your Elders unjustifiablely in this manner without provocation, you will surely fall. I wish President Tinubu can call him to order. Wike’s action shows he has no regard for President Tinubu otherwise, why should he insult people the President honours?
We will know now as PANDEF has demanded an apology from reports we read on Headlinenews.news.
This is a great move. Tinubu must compel Wike to apologize to his invitees immediately.
I believe Tinubu can treat Wike’s madness. Tinubu is the only person Wike fears in Nigeria so let Tinubu caution him or Wike will spoil Tinubu’s government. Wike doesn’t want peace in the Niger Delta but there will be peace whether he likes it or not. The President wants peace and has recognised PANDEF and the reconciliation committee so there is a renewed hope for peace.
Wike will be put to shame.
You can’t force or impose yourself on people. It can never work. Let him be humble and everybody will work together for peace in the region. All this conflict is not good.

This is shocking. How dare Wike insult our elders because they are trying to work for peace in the region! How can these men of integrity go to the Presidential villa for financial reasons?
PANDEF is not like any organization.
Late Chief E. K. Clark founded it on integrity and till his death remained a man of integrity. It is to drive peace in the region and sort out conflicts for the best interest of the Niger Delta. President Tinubu extended a hand to PANDEF to see how the leaders in the region can intervene in the imbroglio bedevilling the region especially in Rivers State which is of concern to him. Tinubu has been accused of supporting Wike to cause unrest in the area. Now, the President made a good move as a good leader. Why is Wike thwarting the President’s move by insulting those President invited? Nooooo. This is just too bad. Tinubu should react now and summon Wike. This is too much. The same Wike who begged everybody to be Governor? A disgrace to the political class. Wike Must apologise to our leaders and PANDEF or it means he is above the President and the law. There won’t be peace if Wike is not put in his place. He must stop all the careless talk and insults.
Tinubu must caution him now because PANDEF is making a move for peace and must be respected by all. See all the dignitaries who responded to the President’s invite for reconciliation options for the region. Wike Must have smoked his weed and spiked it with some Colo before he went for the Media chat. He has become an embarrassment for the Tinubu administration. Fubara is a gentleman. I am not supporting anybody but any objective observer can see the difference. If Fubara wants, he can use the office of Governor to frustrate Wike’s few loyalists, but the man Fubara is for peace. He respects the Elders of the region. Wike will definitely lose out. But Tinubu must make him apologize to our Elders please.

I want to commend PANDEF under the leadership of Ambassador Godknows Igali. You are doing a fantastic job, so keep it up. Do not allow Wike’s eccentricity to get to you. The demand for apology is in good taste, so move forward and do not slow down. He sees you will succeed to ensure peace in the region, and he will soon be exposed as a cantankerous man to his boss- President Tinubu, so he wants to provoke you. Don’t be provoked, please. Be more determined.
God will help you. The Niger Delta Ancestors will support you. Wike will fall. Mark my words. He has become too arrogant. How can he insult Late E. K. Clark? He can not be in his senses. He must have been drunk during the media chat. This Wike is disgracing President Tinubu every time.
We know he is frustrated at losing his political relevance & political capital to the Ijaw people who are the majority.
He can’t vent his spleen by insulting the elders of the region, which is an abomination in the culture. Wike has bitten the finger that fed him. He is doomed.
Who is he to talk where Elders have assembled for the peace of the region? Somebody should call him to order.
He is embarrassing the Niger Delta people.
Maybe he is a bastard and not originally from the region. Somebody said his parents are from the SouthEast and Akwa Ibom. He used to be a thug following politicians. No pedigree, no good background. I know someone who knew his humble background and his secrets. He is not from the region and he can’t do anything to me. We will expose him soon.
He should leave Fubara alone for peace.
Na by force?
People are abusing Tinubu because of him. President must summon him before it’s too late.
