However, in executing these duties, law enforcement must uphold professionalism, respect personal boundaries, and ensure that security measures do not infringe on human dignity.
To this end, we strongly recommend that the police authorities deploy female officers to checkpoints where physical searches may be required. This will ensure that women are searched appropriately, in accordance with best policing practices and human rights considerations. The presence of female officers will help maintain public confidence in security procedures while minimizing discomfort for female travelers.
We sincerely regret any inconvenience experienced by passengers during these searches and appreciate the patience of all law-abiding citizens as security agencies work to protect lives and property.
