#Hilux Vehicle Belonging to NSA’s Office Stolen During Juma’at Prayer in Abuja

A black Toyota Hilux vehicle assigned to the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), Nuhu Ribadu, was reportedly stolen in Abuja during Friday’s Juma’at prayer.

According to sources, the vehicle was parked around 1:05 p.m. opposite the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) complex in Area 10 while the ONSA official attended prayers at a nearby mosque. Upon returning, the official discovered that the vehicle had vanished.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama disclosed the incident via his X (formerly Twitter) handle, citing insider sources. The theft was immediately reported to the Garki Police Division around 2:00 p.m., prompting a rapid police response.

In the aftermath, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command launched a city-wide stop-and-search operation across all major checkpoints, as well as entry and exit routes in Abuja, in an effort to intercept the stolen vehicle and apprehend those responsible.

Police authorities confirmed that investigations are ongoing and that all efforts are being made to recover the vehicle and bring the perpetrators to justice.

“The command has intensified its efforts to track down the fleeing suspects and recover the stolen Hilux,” a police spokesperson stated.
