In a historic moment for Nigeria’s education sector, 15-year-old Afolabi Olumide Ayodeji has set a new benchmark in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), scoring an astonishing 370—the highest mark recorded in over a decade.
According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), no candidate has reached this score since the introduction of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) format in 2013, making Afolabi’s feat a monumental achievement.
