President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved two key appointments into his administration, further strengthening his team in the areas of citizenship, leadership, and youth engagement.
In a statement issued on Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President named Ms. Rinsola Abiola, daughter of the late Chief MKO Abiola, as the new Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC).
Abiola, a specialist in strategic communication and government relations, previously served as Senior Special Assistant to the President. She is widely recognised for her work in youth advocacy, governance reforms, and public policy engagement. Her appointment is expected to bring a renewed focus to leadership training and civic responsibility across the country.
Also appointed was Nasir Bala Aminu Ja’oji, who will serve as Senior Special Assistant on Citizenship and Leadership. Ja’oji, a former Special Adviser on Mobilisation to the Governor of Kano State, has been actively involved in grassroots mobilisation and policy advocacy. He is a member of the Governing Council of Coordinated Arewa Youth Groups and is well-known for championing initiatives aimed at women’s and youth empowerment.
Both appointments, according to the presidency, reflect the administration’s commitment to promoting inclusive leadership, national unity, and active citizen participation in governance.
